Geo-Stone is the new, locally manufactured retaining wall block…… These have no pins and no knobs or lips. The blocks are held together with the friction of filling the cores with gravel and the geo-grid. This one is shown with steps, which are very similar to, my personal favs, Versa-Lok. (The pic shown below does not show the finished caps)

Versa-Loc Segmented Walls

Versa-Loc comes in both 6″ and 8″ block, offering not only strength but also a quality appearance. Versa-Loc is a “pin-and-grid” system…. enabling this wall system to be installed at not only significant heights but also with sizeable surcharges. The applications are almost limitless.

The flat-face Versa-Loc provides an old style, cut-limestone look. The flat-face feature is also popular for recessed steps.

The flat-face 6″ Versa-Loc block can be installed at equal heights and is also a “pin-and-grid” system.

The installation process is typically the same on all LMS’ retaining walls… We consistently “over-do” the grid and gravel. Overall, the choice block is simply for aesthetics…. The work is in the backfill.
